ACCORDING TO MY COMPUTATION I SHOULD GET I.T REFUND OF RS. 25,929 FOR FY 2017-2018.

    AM I RIGHT?

    LOOKING FOR YOUR EARLY RESPONSE.

    THANKS,

    • You’ll need to separate out taxable & non-taxable part of your salary. Assuming that your entire gross salary & other income is taxable, your 1 year income is Rs 7.41 Lakhs. Taking 80C deduction your tax liability would be Rs 31.7K. So refund of around 5K.

I am sure some part of salary would be non-taxable and hence you might get higher refunds!
